I have known Kerry for over 6 years now and regard her as a knowledgeable and experienced horse woman. During this time Kerry has often helped me and ridden exercise on the Arabian race and endurance horses that I have had in training. I was continually impressed by her confidence and ability when riding the horses and her calm attitude when handling them.
Kerry runs a quiet, tidy, peaceful livery yard in a wonderful setting. From time to time I have had horses at livery with Kerry. My horses were very happy at the Haven Livery Yard which was obvious every time I went to see them. They were very well taken care of and I have no hesitation in recommending Kerry and the Haven Livery Yard to anyone.

Hi Kerry, Wanted to add a bit to your site to say thank you for all you have done for Bill.
Through your time, care ,and expertise, you have restored him back into a typical ex-racehorse: a little bit naughty (which I love) but on the whole calm and sensible ... rather than the neurotic, almost dangerous, animal that he had become in only a short time due to picking the wrong yard for him - swank smart yards are not always the best!
It would be fair to say that any horse-lover/-owner would be a fool not to send you their horse: be it full or part-livery they can have peace-of-mind knowing that they have picked a yard that is knowledgeable and friendly with the best care and facilities whatever their pursuits. Or in Bill's case, retirement.
So thank you Kerry, you really are "a Haven".

The Haven was the nicest yard that I kept my horses. It's a small, quiet, friendly, simple, peaceful place. My horses were very content there (and so was I!).
Most of the time they were in their own field, sometimes they were with others or on their own, but they could always see others. It was very flexible for me, I could come and go as I wish, sometimes see other humans sometimes not. Lots of varied rides right on the doorstep, or just 20 mins away I could be on Bodmin Moor.
Kerry who manages the place is lovely, horses always come first with her, and she was a great help to me. She keeps the place beautifully, I miss going there.

My horse lived at the Haven livery yard for six months over the summer of 2007. I have only positive things to say - lovely situation and views, fantastic fields with good grass and post and rail and nice riding. The Haven is a relaxed and friendly yard and Kerry will do her utmost to help whatever is required. I thoroughly recommend!

I have kept horses at the Haven Livery for the past few years, and am now living in the USA. Haven Livery is still taking care of one of my ponies whilst I'm away; Kerry is knowledgeable in all aspects of horsemanship and is very approachable and trustworthy - I know my pony Tom is well looked after which gives me great piece of mind being so far away from him!
After moving about a lot, Kerry's yard is by far the nicest I've come across and I would highly recommend it.
